93 Days, the movie that tells the story of the Ebola crisis in Nigeria is premiering next week in Nigeria.
The film features a star studded cast which includes Bimbo Akintola, Danny Glover, Tim Reid, Somkele Idhalama, Keppy Ekpenyong, and Gideon Okeke.
According to the press release;
“93 Days is a compelling story of dedication, sacrifice and resilience which celebrates the courage shown by the First Consultant Medical Team, the Lagos State & Federal Governments and well-meaning organizations in combating the Ebola virus, which broke out early 2014 in Nigeria. The movie tells the story of how a few sacrificed their lives at the frontline of the horrendous battle against the Ebola virus, some of who lost their lives, but not without saving several lives. Noteworthy is the late Dr. Stella Adadevoh whose role is played by renowned Nigerian actress, Bimbo Akintola.”
The film has received acclaim and was selected to show at this year’s Toronoto International Film Festival.
The premiere event for the movie is to take place on Tuesday, September 13, 2016 at House on The Rock Church in Lekki, Lagos. It will be hosted in collaration with Natives FilmWorks, Michelangelo Productions and the Bolanle Austen-Peters Production. The movie will officially be released in the country on Friday, September 16th.
