Ever wonder what it feels like to be filthy rich? Well we like to believe that at some point we find ourselves lost in a wonderland of endless luxury, living our best lives and not having to worry about money. Most times of course, this day dream happens when the broke life thinks it’s funny to throw extra shade at your struggling bank balance.
For kids like Blue Ivy Carter, such daydreams are things she will probably never relate to, because she already has everything a 6 year old could ask for and more.
Blue accompanied parents Jay Z and Beyoncé to the Wearable art Gala over the weekend and found herself biding for a $17,000 acrylic painting of Sydney Poitier. The 6 year old made a higher bid of $19,000 despite Jay’s attempt to stop her. Sadly Miss Carter lost to Tyler Perry who got the painting for $20,000.
But she didn’t stop there, she went on to win the next bid, which was an art piece by Samuel Levi Jones for $10,000. While Beyoncé on the other hand made a winning bid at 17,000 on a pair of Lorraine Schwartz panther earrings that she was previously spotted wearing to an event.
