Right when we’re thinking about ‘Tribes’ this month at SPICE, Balmain – who created an Army of Lovers for its Spring/Summer’15 menswear collection – has just revealed his Autumn/Winter’15 campaign, which includes a tribe of top siblings: Gigi and Bella Hadid, Joan and Erika Smalls, Kendall and Kylie Jenner and Armando and Fernando Cabral.
Lensed by Mario Sorrenti, the campaign captures each pair of beautiful brothers and sisters in a moody setting, with the fashion houses’ creative director, Olivier Rousteign explaining;
“This season’s Balmain campaign was inspired by a brief, key moment that happened while we were shooting our last campaign.
While I watched Mario capture a kiss last fall, I was struck by the love and emotion that I was witnessing in front of me. Starting with a determination to once again focus on the beauty of an intimate connection, my team and I quickly concluded that a celebration of the unique unconditional love of sibling is a natural progression from the spirit of last season.”
We at SPICE love the series of shots, but especially the how it’s revealed Joan’s equally as stunning sister Erika, who clearly carries the family’s good genes. And we never tire of seeing model bros Armando and Fernando Cabral, who equally share their good looks.
