Fashion’s newest doll, Dominican model Lineisy Montero is seen doing her short-haired thing for Prada, stunning and starring in the label’s Autumn/Winter’15 campaign.
Following the brand’s couple-heavy campaign starring Grace Mahary (see that, here), Ms Montero is lensed by Steven Meisel who shoots a lineup of models in cute, prom-ready pastels, shiny hair clips, elbow-length ostrich and leather gloves and metallic, pointed shoes – the series of images being, according to the brand, an;
“..Ironic ode to meta-modern femininity.”
The theme is toyed with through the uber-perfect pieces and the not-a-hair-out-of-place-ness of the models – a synthetic vibe washed over the shots. Other images feature more Autumnal colours of red, mustard and green, with wool coats, plaid and even leopard print in the mix.
In the accompanying campaign video, which is also shot by Mr Meisel, models are seen styled by Olivier Rizzo and walking between each other in harmonious precision – more woollen two pieces made of v-neck jumpers and neat, flared trousers on display.
