Top designer, Marc Jacobs has just revealed the latest of his Autumn/Winter’15 campaign shots, announcing Willow Smith as one of the brand’s new faces.
Following the recent unveiling of iconic singer Cher as a brand ambassador for the Fall collection, the image of Will and Jada Smith’s daughters ad was posted to the designer’s Instagram, showing young Willow in head-to-toe black and perched on a stool.
Lensed by photographer David Sims and styled by Love Magazine editor, Katie Grand, Willow is seen wearing criss-cross-strapped heels and a pair of gloves, the 14-year-old being the picture of perfection as she plays with her curls.
Mr Jacobs has explained of his campaign stars via the image caption;
“Beauty, style and talent know no age. It is those individuals whose creativity, unique vision, and voice inspire all of us here to create and express ourselves through our medium: fashion.
Photographed by David Sims, this season’s ads feature friends, each of whom evoke a sense of intrigue and inspiration and collectively provoke a true consideration for individuality.”
We at SPICE are keen to see who’ll be revealed next as a face of Marc Jacobs’ Autumn/Winter’15 collection, but in the meantime, let us know what you think to his choice of Cher and Willow Smith in the comments box or online @SPICETVAFRICA.
