With today being Nigeria’s 54th anniversary of independence, search engine giant Google is celebrating with a new Nigeria-fused doodle.
The bright sketch, which features on Google.ng’s landing page, depicts Nigerians of three prominent tribes, using three of the most popular methods of transportation used in the country – the keke napep (tricycle), danfo bus and okada (motorcycle) – and carrying the country’s flag. The president is also included in the animation, rocking traditional Bayelsa clothing and a black hat.
The new sketch, which served up an internet storm once Nigerians noticed it earlier today, is the third Google’s designed since 2010, marking and joining the day’s celebrations in style. Check it out, below;
