Nigeria-based ethical fashion label, Kinabuti is launching a new collection of childrenswear and a jewellery range, via its much-loved diffusion line Kbuti.
Both new ranges will be unveiled tomorrow on May 17th at Kinabuti’s special children’s event – one that your little ones will not want to miss.
Giving tikes the opportunity to play model for a day, the event will include a photoshoot area where kids can be the first to try on and model the new Kbuti collection, plus there’ll be fun and games, and lots of food and drink for guests.
Launched in 2010 to empower women – training and hiring local women as models, brand ambassadors and tailors – Kinabuti explains;
“We were getting lots of orders for bespoke pieces for kids and we realized that it was fun, so we went full blast with it.
As with the Kinabuti brand, clients can expect from the ready to wear KButi kids’ line the same edgy, style conscious pieces built around the versatility of personalities – all at a more financial-savvy rate.
Our new jewellery collection is basically gorgeous distinctive pieces made from varying materials – leather, semi precious stones etc – and comprises of earrings, edgy cuffs, neck pieces and a lot more.
This event is to showcase the new collection we have. There will be a photoshoot session where the kids can be models for the day and we will also be having lots of game activities too, like fashion crafts where the kids can be making their own ideal designs with ankara prints. It is expected to be a fun day.”
So, if you’ve a mini fashionista in the making or are simply excited to see what Kinabuti’s new collections consist of, make sure you head down to this event – you’ll be one of the first to see the stock unveiled, plus there’s promise of a fun family day out.
