Diving straight back to work following the New Year break, design talent, Temitayo Ilesanmi of T.I Nathan has just dropped two new super lookbooks to inspire our 2016 wardrobe, revealing the lookbook for his Spring/Summer’16 “Soliloquy” collection and the “Holiday” capsule line for men.
The “Sililoquy” range – first spied on the ramps at the 2015 Lagos Fashion & Design Week, which took place at the end of October’15 – tells a tale of both love and heartbreak and according to the label;
“…Takes these two ironical factors and blends them into one to form the perfect muse.
It is a compilation of the creative’s feelings and experiences during the duration of the collect.”
In the lookbook, lensed by Tope Horpload, styled by Mag Payne and modelled by Ifeoma Nwobu and Imran, we see the theme explored with splashes of red, perfect flowers and strewn petals, which play a brilliant backdrop to the range of mens and womenswear we fell for on sight at LFDW.
For the”Holiday” range (a popular collection name, with both Wana Sambo and Wanni Fuga naming their recent work the same), smart meets casual with tailored silhouettes and check print – everything worn with skate kicks and modelled by Seun Logan and Seyi Aruleba. Phootgraphy comes courtesy of Emmanuel Oyeleke, while Mag Payne plays stylist again.
It certainly looks like we’re off to a good start in terms of fashion in 2016, but see the rest of T.I Nathan’s 2016 “Soliloquy” and “Holiday” lookbook here below, then tell which you think best in comments box or online @SPICETVAFRICA.
