So the ‘New Year, New You’ mantra is definitely being channelled by Nigerian singer and rapper, Mo’Cheddah, with the artist announcing that her new, self-titled fashion label is soon to launch.
Modupe-Oreoluwa Oyeyemi Ola, as she is lesser known by, revealed the exciting project just after Christmas, posting a picture of herself wearing one of her creations to Instagram, with the message;
“I have been working on a couple of projects but I can’t keep this a secret too long!! In d spirit of “Boxing Day” I have decided to share this surprise with you!!!
I am wearing a look from my ready to wear clothing line launching early next year!!! Can’t wait to share my designs with you!!!! #mocheddahclothingcomingsoon#readytowear“
The “Bad” star went on to post a shot of a friend who’d been lucky enough to sample the designs before they launch, Mo’Cheddah writing;
“For now my family and friends get to try on pieces from #mocheddahclothing@wuraola_martins is our 1st customer! The 1st seed!!!

Revealing more of her creations on Instagram, Mo also posted a pic of her self in a red Mo’Cheddah piece – posing in it after a “5hr turn up” – as well as a monochrome look that includes a fringed belt from her line.
With each item we’ve seen so far looking good, Team SPICE can’t wait to see the full range of ready-to-wear clothes and accessories, but will stay shopping Mo’Cheddah’s upcoming collection via her Instagram page in the meantime.
