Mixed model and It girl, Binx Walton has just been announced as the latest celebrity collaborator with Italian footwear brand, Superga – her first stint as a designer.
Tapping Ms Walton as both the face and co-designer of the upcoming range, Superga announced;
“Binx is a model not only with one of the most impressive lists of previous high profile campaigns, covers and editorials, but also a unique and aspirational style.
…A real voice of a generation with a creative vision.”
The fast-rising rebel model who’s known for her tomboy attitude and raw, revealign Instagram account of life as a model, said of the news;
“Getting a chance to collaborate and design my own line for Superga is …such an honor, their design team has really taken me in and let me take a huge part of this process.
I have always wanted to explore other aspects of the industry and I’m so lucky to have such an amazing brand supporting me on not just the model side, but also the creative, directing, and designing. Which is such a dream come true for me!”
Reports are that the range will feature low-rise kicks, which we at SPICE expect to be styled in her signature low key, skater chic swagger.
Until the first shots of Binx’s collection for Superga are revealed though, see the model ‘break in’ to Vogue’s offices, in a the mag’s just-released video, below;
