While Men’s Fashion Week kicks off in London today, South African Menswear Week (#SAMW) announces its return to Cape Town, with show tickets soon to be available.
The celebrated event will see the industry’s top professionals gathered in front of catwalks from Africa’s most talented designers (Orange Culture, Rich Mnisi and Kola Kuddus included), with the fourth instalment of #SAMW taking place next month, from the 6th till 9th of July 2016.
Again to be held at the Cape Town Stadium, the event will host 50 dynamic designers from the continent, showcasing their collections over four days, spread across two full show spaces (see show schedule here). But this time, the #SAMW experience has been extended to include an ‘all encompassing fashion night’ out for attendees, who are welcome whether they attend all the shows or not.
The fashion extravaganza will provide the opportunity to network with media professionals, creatives and celebrities, with showrooms, lounges, new standing areas and activations available to socialise in. There will also be shopping schedules (worked around the shows), trend talks and panel discussions throughout the four days.
