While we are thinking about men and everything ‘Man’ this month, we’re happy to be distracted by this year’s ELOY Awards which will take place on the 29th of November, and where our ‘exquisite lady’ and presenter Ariyike Akinbobola is nominated!
Our On the Couch host has been nominated in the ‘TV Personality of the Year’ category and naturally we will be cheering her on at the event, which is organised by Exquisite Magazine – this year’s being the seventh edition of the Exquisite Lady of the Year Awards, sponsored by hair company Darling and holding at Red Carpet Hall, Oniru, Victoria Island.
The founder of the ELOY awards and editor-in-chief at Exquisite, Mrs Tewa Onasanya said of the partnership with Darling;

This year’s nominees (with Ezinne Chinkata, Wana Sambo and Tonye Garrick featured) are up for awards that will be given by pubic vote, and there will a new Ladies Who Inspire category, where the public can nominate a winner, which will be chosen by the ELOY judges, including Biola Alabi, Celine Loader, Ini Onuk, Bolanle Austen Peters, Folake Ani-Mumumey and Tewa Onasanya.
Voting ends on the 23rd of November 2015 so do make sure you find out how to place your vote here. Our fingers will of course be crossed for Ariyike Akinbobola to win her category, and as media partner of the ELOYs, we look forward to covering the event and reporting on the lucky winners.
