The costume institute sanctified it’s love for fashion On Monday, May 7th, the Met Gala theme for this year was “Heavenly Bodies: Fashion and Catholic Imagination.” This theme was designed to create a dialogue between fashion and the masterworks of religious art in the museum’s holdings, the show was presented in a trinity location: the Anna Wintour Costume Center, the medieval galleries at the Met’s Fifth Avenue location, and further uptown at the Cloisters
Actors, Musicians, Designers, Editors and every relevant person was in attendance at the Met Gala yet very few of them adhered to the theme. The Verdict is in, take a look at our Top Ten best dressed, they stayed true to the theme and also slayed in all their ensembles.
