This bank holiday weekend was a busy one, what with it being Memorial Day in the US, Democracy Day in Nigeria and Children’s Day too.
Enjoying the three-day weekend like Team SPICE did, the stars were out in the best of their wardrobes, and the creatives were out sharing their skills.

1. The Flow at #TSquared’s White Wedding
If you had overlooked the trending hashtag, maybe you missed the fact that radio host Toolz married her beau Tunde Demuren in a white wedding ceremony this weekend in Dubai.
A quick search of #TSquared2016 will give you the gist of the event, but we couldn’t help but love these pics of the couple taking their vows.

2. Yagazie Emezie’s Travel Photography
The brilliant Lagos-based photographer, Yagazie Emezi has been busy this bank holiday, travelling the South East of Nigeria and venturing into Enugu State, where she’s captured Fulani life and individuals she’s met along the way.
Documenting her journey for Borders Within, Ms Emezie wrote of Amina’s portrait, shared to Instagram over this weekend;
“Finding scars has not been easy. On this trip, I have seen scars from car accidents, hot water, kerosene explosions and surgeries. There have been a lot of heavy no’s and dismissals hiccuped between amused laughter. Laughter that can’t understand why anyone would try to break through the history of once broken skin. I’ve tried not to remain too focused on discovering the process of re-learning scars from strangers. When I can, I pull away and expand the world that I have ironically been travelling but closing in on.

Amina stuck with me the most. I met Amina at a Fulani settlement in Akwuke, Enugu. She moved between the homes sweeping and gathering dirt and re-tying her wrapper. Amina was grace. Her eyes said welcome before her lips. Her Pidgin flowed and her laugh fell carelessly. How could a woman be so beautiful in such heat?

3. Jaden Smith in Rio
Jaden, son of Will Smith and face of Louis Vuitton’s Spring/Summer’16 womenswear campaign, has been busy ‘vacaying’ in Rio De Janeiro, Brazil where he attended the Louis Vuitton showcase.
Seen sporting a monochrome ensemble and “searching” (according to his photo captions) the Rio landscape, the young star and deep thinker had us searching our own wardrobes for pieces as fly as his.

4. Zendaya’s Sight-Seeing
Also searching Rio, teen sensation and style queen Zendaya shared this snap of herself under Rio de Janiero’s famed Christ the Redeemer statue.
The beauty captioned the pic “what a sight” and while we aimed to draw attention to the giant spiritual statue, we were draw to her long legs and were praying ours would grow to match them.

5. Lisa Folawiyo’s Sartorial Crew
Trendy designer Lisa Folawiyo has been stepping out in style, but not alone.
Posting a flashback group shot that shows of what top wardrobes are made of, the talent was seen posed alongside her friends, including LFDW founder Omoyemi Akerele, and captioned the pic;
“Celebrating with @didi_daley @omoyemiakerele @ijay_ogMissing you ladies… #satorialcrew”
Whatever we got up to this bank holiday weekend, we know it wasn’t as stylish…

6. Kimye’s Couple Vibes
Kim Kardashian-West and her husband Kanye were seen sharing a love of fashion too, with Kim posting a pic to her Instagram that revealed their low key weekend style.
She wore a teal bomber jacket and something cleavage-y (obviously), while Ye rocked a “Yeesuz” top and turned away from the lens. A couple that slays together…

7. Seyi Shay’s Selfie Sesh
Singer Seyi Shay was busy in Abuja this bank holiday, where she attended an event at Dune Centre with Exquisite.
Posting a plethora of selfies, the star – who lost out in our style battle this weekend to Tiwa Savage – showed of her bold red lip and bob combo, captioning;

8. Mariah Carey’s Kiddie Snap
Mariah Carey kept Children’s Day in focus with her family snap, shared from Disney Land.
The singer posed for a sweet selfie with her kids Moroccan and Monroe, and made plastic parkers a thing for outings this Spring/Summer.

9. Rita’s Face Beat
Showing out for a makeup tutorial with Zaron Cosmetics, the brand’s ambassador, movie star and director Rita Dominic looked heavenly in her sleek ‘do and straight locks.
The star posted this mini vid from behind-the-scenes of the shoot, captioned;

We know we’ll be wanting to wear that pink smoky eye, so will have our eyes peeled for the tutorial’s appearance.

10. Ciara’s Golf Buggy Buddies
