7 Trends to Take from the 2016 #Cannes Festival

The annual Cannes Festival came and went, holding between 11th and 22nd May 2016, with a flurry of frivolous dresses and flawless celebrity faces to admire.

A great indication of the trends to get to know, the red carpet did not disappoint and delivered 7 standout looks we could all lean to as the Summer nights get longer (and a little more fun!).

1. Bolero Bordering

Summer in Spain is basically the dream, and for the stars on the red carpet at Cannes, it came true via bolero-style trimmings, like bare shoulders and frilled hems.

The look sizzled from the shoulders of Katy Perry, Chanel Iman and Karlie Kloss, and we think we’ll look just as hot when we find our version of their Marchesa dresses.

2. Sexy Suits

Seen on the beautiful bodies of South African actress Charlize Theron, models Bella Hadid and Lily Donald, as well as Gala Weiss, suits are fair game on the red carpet, and suddenly we’re looking at our workwear wardrobe in a whole new light.

Just add heels of a brilliant pair of flats, then let a few buttons loose and you’ll have nailed if-I-were-a-boy-dressing in an instant.

3. Super High Thighs

As detailed here, it was high thighs all round this year at Cannes, with stars like Liya Kebede and Bella Hadid doing them complete and utter justice.

4. ’50s Flair

Every women alive would leap at the chance to become Marilyn Monroe, and do just that, actress Helen Mirren and models Eva Herzigova and Jourdan Dunn did!

From embellished numbers that skimmed the ankles to gowns baring floor-sweeping trains, the look is all about a nipped-in waist and hip bouncing, flared skirt. Try one for instant figure flattery.

5. Sparkling Sheers

Ever wanted to be a Disney princess? Now’s the time, following the lead of those on the red carpet, who wore beautiful creations layered in sheer, glittering swathes of fabric.

Especial favourites came from Alessandra Ambrosio, Milla Jovovich, Natasha Poly, Eva Longoria, Cindy Bruna, Aishwarya Rai and Kendal Jenner, who were the belle of the ball at the premieres they attended.

6. Feathery Fringing

7. Racy Lace

Liya Kebede did hers well, and so did Kirsten Dunst and Adriana Lima. adriana-lima-vogue-17may16-getty_b_426x639 kirsten dunst But what were the trends you took away from the red carpet? 1. Hello,

I’m looking for website owners who are willing to partner with us in the dating and professional escorts niche/industry.

We’d like to offer payments in exchange for articles published on myspice.tvr. We can either send you well-written content that’s ready to post, or you can write it yourself.

Of course, an even simpler solution would be to simply place a link inside one of your pages, for a fee, of course.

We understand that our website is in a sensitive niche, so for your peace of mind and ours as well, we would be OK with you placing a link inside an older article, to keep it away from your day-to-day traffic.

We already work with thousands of other sites, both businesses and individual blog owners.

    Would you be interested?

    Thanks,

    Hola,

    Gracias,
