Aamito Wins First Ever Africa’s Next Top Model

12 aspiring models from different parts of Africa moved to Cape Town, South Africa to prove they had what it takes to make it in the cut-throat world of modelling. And, after nine weeks and nine eliminations, Aamito Stacie (a.ka. Queen) from Uganda beat everyone to emerge as the winner of the very first season of Africa’s Next Top Model, a franchise of America’s Next Top Model.

After the show’s finale, held in New York City, against finalists Michaela from Angola and Opeyemi from Nigeria, Aamito walked away with a 1 year modelling contract with New York-based agency DNA, a $50,000 cash prize and product endorsement deals from P&G, Snapp and Etisalat amongst others.

We at SPICE can’t wait to see her work. Congratulations Aamito!
