Fast-rising Nigerian menswear designer, Adebayo Oke-Lawal has been interviewed by Voice of America, confirming his appeal internationally and further pushing his label, Orange Culture.
Telling Voice of America about his brand, Oke-Lawal said:
“It’s the quirkiest men’s label you can think of in Africa. We produce clothes that tell interesting stories.”
The young Lagos-based designer also explained his goals are:
“To create a niche that is definitely known all over the world and (to represent) my countrymen to the fullest…Yet still maintain a brand that is internationally recognisable as African and (to) be able to make a difference.”
As lovers of the Orange Culture aesthetic, we at SPICE wish Mr Oke-Lawal congrats and will keep a keen eye on his brand’s future fabulous endeavours. #WellDoneAdebayo!
