Summer’s brave trend, the bare face is something that both excites and scares us; we all love that clean, no-makeup feeling (especially in the sun), yet fear looking unpolished while out and about.
Well, you don’t have to be a model to rock the look, though it has been spied on 2014 catwalks, on models at Balmain and Alexander McQueen;

And even Hollywood celebrities seem to have adopted the trend, as we see Scandal star Kerry Washington and Hollywood’s new darling, Lupita Nyongo’ stepping out with the bare-faced look;
Wanting to achieve the look for yourself? It’s simple: moisturise (with an SPF) and go – though you might want to apply a good lip balm to leave lips looking supple and a mascara to define the eyes.
