As part of Social Media Week Lagos, My Makeup NG, Bella Naija and Ndani TV will be hosting a 2-day event for beauty lovers, which will include a seminar discussing the impact social media has on our definition of beauty, and a makeup masterclass that will advise how to use social media to your business’ advantage.
The “Beauty Unmasked” event will begin on Friday 21st of February, with a seminar to discuss the future trends in the Nigerian beauty industry and panel of speakers that will include Jackie Olayiwola Aina a.k.a. LilPumpkinPie05 (a celebrity vlogger and makeup artist), Gbemi Olateru-Olagbegi of The Beat 99.9FM, Joyce Jacob, Theodora Mogo, Ezinne Alfa of Beauty In Lagos and Dinma Umeh of That Igbo Chick. Geared to empower women by helping them understand how social media has re-defined the concept of beauty and self acceptance, the seminar will start at 4pm at Terra Culture, Plot 1376, Tiamiyu Savage, Victoria Island, Lagos.
Saturday 22nd February will see My Makeup NG hosting a masterclass, where Jackie Olayiwola Aina will be sharing her tips and tricks for flawless foundation application, highlighting and contouring, as well as discussing how to use social media to expand your personal brand. The event will hold from 12pm at A White Space (58, Raymond Njoku, Ikoyi), and you can see below a video Ms Aina has posted about her upcoming session, showing she’s as excited to be there as we are to welcome her.
