Last week, DJ and artist Solange Knowles – a Fashion Week front row staple in recent seasons – was spotted at both Vivienne Westood and Andrew Gn’s shows in Paris, rocking a Harbison Spring/Summer’15 coat and matching colour-blolced heels, stealing everyone’s attention.
For the beauty fiends on Team SPICE though, it was the songstress’ minimal beauty look that showed her style stripes, with Ms Knowles proving that she also knows a thing or two about this season’s biggest beauty trends.
Pairing her chic navy, red, and baby blue patchwork coat (an item she may well have borrowed from Beyonce, who was also spied in the coat this month) with lust-worthy Nicholas Kirkwood x Roksanda Spring/Summer’15 sandals and an Anya Hindmarch clutch, the star looked all sorts of bold and bright, but topped her outfit off perfectly with contrasting, understated makeup that focused on the skin and eyes.
Completing her ‘look-at-me’ outfit with harldy anything on her face, Solange groomed her brows and left her skin glowing, as well as adding a little gloss to her lids for a truly fresh beauty look – one akin to the raw, undone makeup trend that has ruled the runways for this season.
