Dedicated to inspiring black women and young black girls to cherish their natural beauty, some of Africa’s most gorgeous stars are spied in the “Fifty Shades of Black” campaign, featuring Munachi Abii, Beverly Naya, Osas Ighodaro and more.
Photographed by Aham Ibeleme, the campaign (which sees Taiwo Ajai-Lycett, Dakore Akande, Linda Ejiofor, Vimbai Mutinhiri, Stephanie Coker and Isi Atagamen also in the mix) has stars serving face in nothing but head wraps – a beautiful traditional look that we at SPICE can’t get enough.
Alongside the campaign’s powerfully perfect imagery – the campaign named with a twist on the popular Fifty Shades of Grey novel and film which is set to launch this year – each personality is seen alongside potent words of encouragement for taking pride in one’s skin colour, combining for a great initiative to inspire women of colour everywhere.
