Estée Lauder‘s Summer’14 ad campaign, featuring twenty-six-year-old Puerto Rican model, Joan Smalls, sees the beauty stunning in several looks, to front the some of the brand’s recent releases: the “Perfectionist Youth-Infusing SPF 25” foundation, the “Sculpting Foundation Brush” and the latest “Bronze Goddess” colour collection.
Ms Smalls has been a spokesmodel for Estée Lauder since 2010 and is the first Latina face of the brand in the company’s sixty-eight-year history. Speaking to Elle Magazine late last year, Estée Lauder’s senior vice president and global creative director, Richard Ferretti described his feelings towards the model, saying;
“The word ‘supermodel’ is overused, but if there is any woman of our generation who deserves the title, it’s Joan. She has the perfect face.”
