Hot stuff for an on-going hot minute, Lupita Nyong’o – actress and new fashion It girl – has been named as one of the faces of Miu Miu, alongside acting peers Elle Fanning and Elizabeth Olsen.
Seen here in the latest of images to be released for the brand’s Spring/Summer’14 collection campaign, Nyong’o was shot by famed photog duo Inez Van Lamsweerde and Vinoodh Matadin, wearing white platforms, a choker and beaded bralet.
The brand said of its S/S’14 ads:
“Timeless codes of femininity are both pretty and perverse – classics, but not quite as they should be – as if seen in a dream. Thick wool stockings in rich yellow, red and pink are paired with ruby Mary Janes, lace-up knee-highs or crystal-studded platform sandals. A good-girl coat is interpreted in yellow and grey and a bad-girl bustier drips with jewels.
The actresses’ poses, full of personality, convey their diverse points of view, effortlessly translating the new spirit of the Miu Miu woman.”
