Landing her first ever high end fashion campaign, controversial singer Miley Cyrus is revealed as the face of Marc Jacobs‘ Spring/Summer’14 collection, shot by David Sims (as opposed to famous photographer, Juergen Teller who – from what we can gather – didn’t want to shoot Miley, despite having worked with Marc Jacobs for years).
The shots show the star pensively staring into the distance on an equally moody LA beach, while two models – Natalie Westling and Esmerelda Seay Reynolds – appear in the background.
Jacobs told WWD:
“We all just love her and her entire being, her energy, her talent, her intelligence, everything. There’s nothing I don’t like about her. She is just genuine and very natural.”
