Just as the year is about to round up with all things great for Cardi B, the hip hop star bags two nominations in the Grammy Awards 2018. Lets just say all her money moves paid off and this year has been more than tremendous for Cardi and her hit song “Bodak Yellow”, if you are not jamming to the song at the moment you probably did at that house party you attended over the weekend(we know you did).
For the 2018 Grammys award, “Bodak Yellow” is nominated for Best Rap Song and Best Rap Performance, this is not surprising considering all the awards the hit song has bagged this year alone. Very few Artists gain the attention and ride on the momentum Cardi has since she debuted in 2015, not only has Bodak Yellow been certified triple platinum last week, but it is also the longest running No. 1 from a solo female rapper in Hot 100 history surpassing Lauryn Hills 1998 classic song, asides from that, this year alone the hit song has won “Single of the Year” and now Grammy’s might soon be in the bag for the Hip hop star.
Cardi B was nominated alongside her fiance and other fantastic raper in the Rap performance category, this is definitely a great year for the Cardi, and one can only hope the shine and energy doesn’t fade away quickly. Don’t you just want always to jam up to Cardi in your red bottoms.
