She is a rare novelist, and a feminist with a well defining voice on race and gender for the digital age. Her books ‘Half of a yellow sun and ‘Purple Hibiscus’ have been best sellers and received countless awards.

Chimamanda Adichie is known for her strong style ethos, hence her choice of a T-shirt that read in shimmering letters “We Should All Be Feminists,” and a Dior bag that had the same message inspired by her 2012 TEDx Talk is no surprise. The bag was designers by Maris Grazie Chiuri, the first woman creative director at Dior.
