Curvy Style Steal: Claire Sulmers
It’s been a while but you know we had to steal yet another curvy beauty’s style! This time, we’re taking wardrobe inspiration from blogger extraordinare Claire Sulmer – the creator of one of the biggest style blogs about: Fashion Bomb Daily.
This Harvard Graduate and always gorgeously-dressed entrepreneur has the brains to match the beauty and, well known for her enviable waredrobe, Claire is a key figure in the fashion industry when it comes to championing great new fashions, having been spied in our former Big Brand star, Demstiks as well as Nigerian label Busayo. If that wasn’t enough, the blogger’s view on body shape is one that we definitely agree with, too;
“Even if I may be considered plus-sized by industry standards, I created Fashion Bomb to celebrate all women, particularly those who don’t see themselves in fashion magazines.
Though our plus-sized coverage could be better, I do my best to showcase voluptuous ladies.”

Curvy News: Kelly Brook for Simply Be
On #CurvesdayThursday, we love to give you the latest news, including big brand collaborations that come with a difference – and this week, Kelly Brook’s new range with Simply Be is proving to one such collab to shout about.
The British actress, TV presenter and all-round stunner looks great in previews pics of her upcoming line, which were released yesterday and show the star in curve-flattering dresses in of lace and bootylicious bodycons.
Simply Be said of the collaboration;
“Kelly Brook is the perfect fit for Simply Be as she is shining example of somebody who embraces and celebrates her curves.
She has put huge amounts of energy and passion into designing her collection with our team, ensuring each piece has the vital ingredients necessary to make our customers feel fantastic.”
However, what is more interesting is that the dresses will be available in size 10 – a first for plus-size brand Simply Be, who usually veer away from smaller, ‘mainstream’ sizes and strictly sell to a fuller-figured clientele. Whilst some may question the decision, we at SPICE think it’s great that the brand is expanding its audience, since curves come in all shapes and sizes – big and small – and if it looks great on you, who cares about the size?
