Curvy Style Steal: Peace Hyde
Another week, another curvy beauty for us to steal style from! This time, we’re taking wardrobe inspiration from British-Ghanian actress, TV presenter and all round stunner, Peace Hyde.
Host of The EFGH Show in Ghana as well as the star of hit TV show Adam’s Apple, Peace is as well known for her curvalicious figure as she is for her achievements – though it’s her covetable sense of style we’re applauding her for at the moment.
Using a mix of colourful shades, beautiful Kente material and form-fitting dresses, the star is a great example of how to best flaunt your figure while still keeping your look classy. And, with her new show Friday Night Live premiering recently, we reckon we’ll be seeing lots more of Peace – which means even more amazing style to steal! For now, we’re taking these ensembles from Peace and putting them straight into our wardrobes;
Curvy #TBT: Plus Model Magazine’s “Changing the Plus Size Divide” Editorial
Looking back at another spread from Plus Model Magazine, who are just relentless in their championing of the fuller frame, we’re stuck reminiscing on their interesting shoot concept for the mag’s January’14 issue.
Titled “Changing the Plus Size Divide,” the shoot was lensed by Andre Schneider and styled by Spry Lee Scott to show a plus sized model mirrored by a ‘mainstream-sized’ model, proving that clothes really do look great at any size.

Curvy Pick of the Week: Topshop’s Sleek & Sporty Mesh Dress
Now, while we at SPICE are loving the World Cup and all the talk of sports, for us, the need to look sleek is still just as essential as being on-trend – so thank God for this versatile dress from Topshop.
