DIY Face And Body Scrub

For those of us in Nigeria, the weather is gradually becoming dry and hot, which means you need to keep your body extra hydrated and exfoliate more often. Dead skin cells are already difficult to get rid of and will become more difficult in this weather, and there is no telling what that will do to your skin.

• Coffee is a rich source of antioxidants, which protects the skin from skin damaging radicals.
• Coffee is a Diuretic, which will help you get rid of unnecessary water and toxins.
• It contains ingredients that tighten the skin and reduce cellulite.
• It contains tissue repair qualities which make the skin smooth and bright.
• Coffee promotes blood circulation, which reduces swelling of tissues.
• It is a natural skin brightener.
1. Cellulite body scrub
What you need
• 2 tbs of sugar
• 3 tbs of olive oil
• 3 tbs of coffee
• Mix coffee, sugar and olive oil together in a bowl and apply all over affected area in a circular motion
• Leave for about 10-15 minutes and rinse off with clean water
• Repeat at least 3-4 times a week for effective results

2. Skin brightener
What you need
• Liquid Milk
• Half cup of coffee

Coffee-Scrub- cellulite
• Add milk to coffee and form a thick consistency
• Apply paste all over your body and leave for about 15-20 minutes
• Wash off with warm water
• Repeat at least 3 times a week for effective results

3. Face scrub
What you need
• 2 tbs of coffee
• 3 tbs yogurt
• 1 tbs honey
• Mix ingredients together and apply on your face
• Leave for 10-15 minutes before rinsing off with Luke warm water
• Pat face dry with clean towel
• Repeat at least 3 times a week for effective results
