Forever-slaying soul-singer, Erykah Badu has revealed that she is gracing the cover of Essence Magazine‘s August’15 issue – the first-ever global edition of the mag.
The unique beauty, who was caught sharing the secret behind her signature, eccentric style (more that, here), was lensed by South African-born photographer, Warwick Saint under the sun in Nairobi, Kenya, on Zanzibar’s Kizimkazi Beach.
We at SPICE, as expected, can’t get enough of the beauty’s baby face and uber-cool styling, which includes all her favourite – Afrocentric accessories, versatile hair and hats.
Though the full spread is yet to be released officially (just small shots for now, but check back soon as we update the story with larger images), Ms Badu did share a few pics on her Facebook page, captioning;
“Grateful!”
Us too, Ms Badu, us too.
