Neo-soul superstar, Erykah Badu is shot for InStyle Magazine‘s September’14 issue, cocooned in an all white, 70s-themed editorial, styled by James Valeri.
The Grammy Award winning songstress and recent face of Givenchy is lensed for the spread by Johan Sandberg and seen in shoulder length, bead-tipped box braids (a la Rick James) to reinterpret luxurywear from Gareth Pugh, Givenchy (obvs), Calvin Klien, Herve Leger and others.
Alongside the shoot, the singer dishes on her style tips and music loves, but more interestingly, the smooth dresser revealed her work with InStyle via her Facebook page, saying;
““Oooooh.. Honored to be featured in Sept. Issue of IN STYLE mag. Don’t care too much about Fashion… but if you got your own Style come fck wit me..”
