Who is in love cold water? hmm we know a lot of people are guilty of the crime so we won’t sue. Cold water is as hazardous to the health as fizzy drinks are. We know how overwhelming work can be and the only remedy most times is to grab a cup of cold water or a bottle of chilled drinks. We decided to conduct a research on the effects of consuming old water on a daily basis. Read Below
1. Interferes with your digestion and nutrients: Every time you drink cold water your blood vessels shrinks, hence the process of digestion is slowed down, this causes the nutrients from the food not to be digested properly or even lost.
2. You could get a sore throat: When cold water or drinks are consumed it can cause the buildup of what is called respiratory mucosa, which is the protective layer of the respiratory tract. When this layer is congested, the respiratory tract is exposed and becomes vulnerable to various infections hence the chances of having a sore throat is high.
3. Decreases your hearth rate: Studies have shown that drinking cold water stimulates the vagus nerve. The vagus nerve is the 10th cranial nerve and is an important part of the body nervous system that controls involuntary actions of the body. The vagus nerve controls the lowering of the hearth rate and the low temperatures of ice cold water act as a stimulus to the nerve which causes the hearth to drop.
