Top TV personality, actress, model and all round style presence, Eku Edewor has just shared a 5-day Style Diary with Elle Magazine SA, revealing even more of the well-made wardrobe decisions that have seen her on the radar of Paper Magazine, those of top designers and of course, ours here at SPICE.
Lensed by Tiff Pemberton and styled by the team at The Stye HQ, the mixed race, Nigerian beauty is captured on the streets looking super fly in some of her favourite black and African brands, including Jewel By Lisa, Maki Oh, Ituen Basi and Laquan Smith.
The stunner also gives insight into her preferred labels and icons, saying;
“Audrey Hepburn in all her iconic roles is a big style icon of mine… Jewel by Lisa makes clothes that are the perfect uniform for a well-dressed rebel.”
Revealing a style tip to use in order to achieve the above standout ensemble, Ms Edewor explains;
“Wide leg, high-waist pants are the quickest way to achieve longs limbs. These Ituen Basi pants are a perfect fit – the silky fabric literally makes them a breeze to walk in.”
One of our favourite looks over the 5 days of her style diary has to be this fitted pencil skirt by Maki Oh, worn with a fresh white top the beauty says reminds her of irk and buba;
Ms Edewor says;
‘There’s nothing like a pencil skirt to make one feel grown up and sophisticated. Maki Oh’s hand-dyed skirt feels personal and unique in a way that makes a statement yet feels comfortable. It’s also incredibly feminine.
I kept the look effortless with a loose crop top, reminding me of an iro and buba combination traditional to Lagos. I’m a lady of the world in this outfit but if you look closely, you’ll see my roots. Lagos Girl coming through! Watch out!”
We at SPICE are certainly fans of the star’s wardrobe and this glimpse at her Style Diary for Elle Magazine SA has left us even more keen to see what else she’ll step out in throughout 2015.
