New style book, Fashion Africa by African Fashion Guide founder Jacqueline Shaw, is expected to launch on February 6th this year, with everything from luxury wear to handbags and street style looks inside.
40 designers from all over Africa are showcased in Shaw’s detailed work, including exclusive pictures and interviews with designers, including Aurora James (founder of Brother Vellies of Namibia and South Africa), Josephine Kyomuhendo (founder of José Hendo) and Kwabena Oppong Boateng (of label Kayobi, based in Ghana).
With Shaw having worked within the fashion industry in the UK, China, Germany, Turkey and Africa, we look forward to an insightful chronicle on the fashion and textile industry, and social enterprises across the African continent.
The book will retail at £45 (hardback), published by Jacaranda Books.
