So it seems we’re not the only ones celebrating ‘Children in Fashion’ this month, with top fashion house, Fendi launching the “Peekaboo” project – a collaboration with 10 iconic women working in fashion and the arts, which sees a range of exclusive handbags sold to raise funds for Kids Company (a charity helping vulnerable inner city children in Britain).
Marking the occasion of Fendi’s new London boutique opening in New Bond Street, the project has top names – super model Jerry Hall, her daughter Georgia May Jagger, Cara Delevigne, singer Adele, artist Tracey Emin and actresses Gwyneth Paltrow and Naomie Harris (whose Africa bag we happen to love) – creating their own “Peekaboo”-style handbags.
Of each design, only two copies have been made – one to be retained by the celebrity designer and the other to be sold online via an auction on Fendi’s website, for which the bidding ends on 30th May.
See the exquisite designs below and then place your bid here, with funds going towards Kids Company’s trust;
