The new feature within Google image search to find “style ideas” based on image searches you do for various articles. The new features, like the recently released “similar ideas” feature are alike.
The new feature provides shoppers who are looking to purchase fashion related items, images of what the shopper will look like while wearing or carrying the item they searched.
“With style ideas, you can see real-life options of what bag and jeans look stellar with those red high heels you’ve been eyeing. Or if running gear is more your speed, no sweat — workout ensemble ideas are just a tap away,” says Google.
However, it is undeniable that the new feature is similar to popular go-to- fashion and lifestyle inspiration app, Pinterest. And we can’t help but wonder if this new feature on Google will give Pinterest a run for their money.
