H&M Revealing an upcoming collection that’s destined for stores next November, announces a cool new collaboration with Alexander Wang.
The NY-native and creative director at Balenciaga will design a range of men’s and women’s wear, plus accessories, saying;
“I am honoured to be a part of H&M’s designer collaborations. The work with their team is an exciting, fun process. They are very open to pushing boundaries and to set a platform for creativity. This will be a great way for a wider audience to experience elements of the Alexander Wang brand and lifestyle.”
Creative advisor for H&M, Margareta van den Bosch explained;
“Alexander Wang is one of the most important voices in fashion today. He understands exactly what people want to wear and does it with an energy and passion that’s infectious. It feels incredible to be collaborating with him this year.”
Wang joins a long list of designers that have worked with the brand, including Karl Lagerfeld, Stella McCartney, Isabel Marant, Versace Matthew Williamson and Marni, and with his collaborative effort to due launch on the 6th of November’14, we’ve one more reason to hit the highstreet – or head Ebay a few days after, where much of H&M’s designer ranges end up after a savvy few have snapped up the best pieces and posted them online to make a hefty highend profit…
