Nancy Nwadire, the creative talent behind women wear label, Iconic Invanity, has just announced the opening of her first boutique, with an exquisite event to celebrate its launch that also unveiled the brand’s upcoming Autumn/Winter’14 collection.
Opening in Banana Island, Ikoyi, Lagos, the boutique will stock the label’s beautiful garments, known for their high end fabrics, fine cuts and pretty, bedazzling finishes – and, hosting the launch event at The Grand Gardens (also in Ikoyi), the brand drew top fashion names as guests, including Temple Muse’s Avinash Wadhwani, Dimeji Alara and actress-come-hostess for the night, Omotola ‘Omosexy’ Jalade-Ekehinde, who were all served champagne, hors d’oeuvres and great music, alongside an exclusive preview of Iconic Invanity’s fall wears.
According to the designer, the collection, inspired by the 1950’s glamour in high society;
“…sets the stage for an elegant and timeless wardrobe for the Iconic Invanity woman.”
We at SPICE agree, and think the event that launched it set the stage for good things to come from the brand’s new boutique.

And on the night, guests were able to peek at the beautiful stock as well as preview the label’s upcoming Autumn/Winter’14 collection.

The night was sponsored by champagne house, Moet & Chandon, who kept the bubbles flowing and guests having a good time.

Model and presenter Eku Edewor was looking great in a floor-length, asymmetrical number with stunning lace detail.

But Nollywood star Omotola Jalade-Ekehinde stunned on the carpet in an Iconic Invanity dress, which served her well to play hostess and introduce guests to an exclusive catwalk preview of the brand’s Autumn/Winter’14 collection.
