While we were excited to report that mega star Rihanna would be performing at this year’s Victoria’s Secret show, it seems that Ms Fenty has other plans, with news spreading that she has in fact cancelled her performance – and also not gracing the catwalk is supermodel Jourdan Dunn, who took to Twitter to call the show “BS.”
While it’s unclear on why Rih won’t be performing (some sources cite her new music isn’t ready, others are talking about a busy schedule) and why Ms Dunn isn’t walking in the show like last year, it is clear how she feels about it all, with the model tweeting (and then deleting);
“Feeling so much better about not doing BS … sorry I mean VS now that Rihanna isn’t doing it also.”
It may well be that Jourdan simply didn’t make the cut, with all models asked to attend a casting for the event every year, though rumours have been circulating online about many models not being satisfied with the pay. Whatever the reason, other stunners who haven’t made the lineup include Grace Mahary and Imaan Hammam, who Team SPICE love to see do their thing on the ramp.
The list of gorgeous girls we can expect to see on the ramp include newcomer It-girls Gigi Hadid, Kendall Jenner and Leomie Anderson, with South African beauty Candice Swanepoel walking alongside Joan Smalls, Maria Borges, Lela Nda, Lais Ribeiro, Cindy Bruna, Jasmine Tookes and Gracie Carvalho.
