Love or loathe Kanye West and his family, the rapper’s been everywhere in terms of fashion throughout 2015 – from New York Fashion Week, to Vogue interviews with Andre Leon Talley and inside the most stylish birthing suite we’ve ever seen, to welcome his new son Saint into the World – and has now being proved as top of the style set, with a win in GQ’s ‘Most Stylish Man of 2015’ poll.
At least, that’s what his followers (and Kim Kardashian and Kris Jenner’s) think, having helped to vote him into the top spot, where he’d been polled against teenaged American sweetheart, model Lucky Blue Smith.

“64 men, each of whom we think was legitimately worthy of being named 2015’s Most Stylish Man by you, the readers…”
– eventually being left with;

One is a 37-year-old rap god with his own fashion label, a wife who just happens to be the most influential woman on Instagram, and two children who already out-dress most adults, while the other is still just a child (granted, a 17-year-old, world-famous male model with millions of adoring fans and plenty of big-name campaigns under his Saint Laurent belt).”
“West has arguably been the most influential fashion figure in hip-hop since his debut album, The College Dropout, dropped in 2004.
Over the years, he’s built a fanbase that doesn’t just love his music, but actually aspires to dress exactly the way he does. (Which in 2015 meant a lot of suede Chelsea boots, sweatpants, hoodies, and of course, Yeezy Boost sneakers.)
In fact, when it comes to devout followers wearing the outfits of their heroes head to toe, Kanye West’s influence is rivaled probably only by that of James Bond.”
Team SPICE note the various style-realted accolades piling up against the star’s name – just recently, West even won the ‘Shoe of the Year’ at Footwear News’ annual awards – and while we applaud his win as GQ‘s ‘Most Stylish Man of 2015,’ something tells us 2016 will be his year, too.
