There’s almost nothing as inspiring as seeing young people take events that could have lead them to the worst periods in their lives, and turn it into something positive that eventually enables them help people and also set world records in their chosen career path.
11 year old Kheris Rogers made fashion history at this year’s fashion week on the 10th of September, when she became the youngest designer to show her collection during the New York fashion week. Kheris unveiled her spring 2018 collection at the museum of the city of New York.
Her runway show featured here and two other models of diverse skin tone wearing outfits from the 11 year old’s “Flexin in my complexion” based on personal experiences. She credits the collection to the bullying she went through in the early stages of her relationship, because of her skin color.
The collection comes in cracked neck tees, tank tops and baby bibs.
