Italian Nigeria-based label, Kinabuti held its model search project, “Dare2Dream” grand finale on Wednesday 19th of November at the Federal Palace Hotel in Lagos, revealing its winner, Tolulope Balogun.
The event – sponsored by many popular platforms including SPICE TV – came as the conclusion to a month-long search for the next model talent across Nigeria, followed by 10 days of workshops with a bootcamp that taught finalists skills in different areas, including presentation and social media strategy.
The four hopefuls had been through various rigorous mental and physical tests for the role, and designers were also scouted for the chance to showcase their collections at the grand finale event, which saw model Ms Balogun named the winner, taking home 500,000 Naira and a new role as the face of FCMB. The ceremony also saw Kinabuti’s latest collection, “Khan Vlisco” showcase on the catwalk.
Celebrities were spotted at the high profile event, including Lola Omotayo-Okoye, Toke Makinwa, Anita Okoye, Eku Edewor, Elma Godwin, Kaylah Oniwo, Ozzy Agu and others, with pictures from Kinabuti’s “Dare2Dream” closing show seen below;
