This week, on September 17th, Nigerian designer, Lanre Dasilva Ajayi showcased her Spring/Summer’15 “Rock Delight” collection at Milan Fashion Week,
as part of the annual Vogue Talent event from Vogue Italia.
The platform invites select designers from all over the world to showcase to an audience of international retail professionals and fashion industry heavyweights – great exposure for any brand but well-deserved by Lanre Dasilva Ajayi, whose timeless, impactful pieces have already impressed Africa’s fashion industry since its launch in 2005.
The label made it to the event via sponsorship from the Guaranty Trust Bank SME MarketHub, as part of the Bank’s efforts to put local talents on the global map – and since her arrival in Milan, the talented Ms Ajayi has been able to meet with some of fashion’s top names, including Vogue’s Editor in Chief, Anna Wintour.
