Anita Quansah continues to baffle us with the intricacy of her work. Creativity wasn’t compromised at all in her craftsmanship, even at the expense of practicality. This collection, which she collaborated with Mo Saique, is one that is difficult to write about. No fashion formula will dissect it, no analysis of fabrics and forms will do, and clearly to pass judgements on “functionality” is futile. One could say that the designers went with the “flow of the spirit”, and hopefully we live in a society where we can wear whatever we want.
While the neck pieces may be a challenge for an average woman, the shoes are a different story. Tassels dangle from straps making them a must-have addition to every woman’s closet.
