Look Book Collection: Mich Lagos Debut ‘Elena’

‘Mich Lagos‘ a contemporary women’s wear brand which was founded in 2014 by the eponymous designer Michelle Akpude releases her debut collection ‘Elena’.

In her words “Elena arises from a Latin word which means shining Star”.  This explains the intricate detailing on the dresses in this collection, the artistic cut outs on one of the dresses shows off the sexy curves of the woman body.

“The inspiration behind this collection is a fearless woman; I go for what they say is impossible. I do not want to sound too strong but I challenge myself a lot, most of this piece came from my alone time in my toilet”.

Our best look yet from this collection is the VALERY dress, the rose flower motif used alongside with the fabric is a match made in heaven. Sultry long Tube dresses matched with full circle peplum made in fur fabrics had the most beautiful structure ever.
