Ghanaian designer, Nana K. Brenu never ceases to amaze us with his minimalistic, feminine and sophisticated designs, and with the latest collection for his womenswear label 1981, the designer astounds us with his talent once again.
The 2014 collection features modern constructions with bold colours in contrast alongside cool, natural tones, as well as asymmetry and clean cuts, which brings about a feel of elegance throughout the lineup.
The lookbook was shot by Livio Bez and modelled by Tiah Beye and Iryna Rozhik, with Mr Brenu describing his work as;
“…about refinement of the design until its true essence emerges, a notion based on the fundamentals of minimalism. It the beauty in that rawness and simplicity that appeals to my design sensibilities.”
We at SPICE appreciate the details, textures, quality materials, craftsmanship and the finishing of this new range, but check it out for yourself, below;
