Serving up a double helping of cool wears for this season, Tanzanian London-based brand, Chichia London reveals a lookbook packed with two collections – its Britian-made Spring/Summer’14 collection, “Reminiscence” and a luxury line produced in Tanzania.
Speaking of its quirky Spring/Summer’14 “Reminiscence” collection, which forges playful pieces in bright colours and traditional Khanga print, the brand explains that the line;
“recalls a sometimes forgotten time; ones childhood.
The collection focuses on the idea of being grown up but still wanting to have fun in clothes and dressing up to feel happy, channeling a youthful innocence.”
The “Chichia Luxe Concept” collection also bares bold patterns, including handmade Batik prints designed by Oliver Goddard, which feature animals and traditional Tanzanian Tinga Tinga art.
We at SPICE love both offerings and have pieces from both lines on our wish-list. See them below then tell us which you prefer via the comments box or on Twitter via @SPICETVAFRICA;
