While Team SPICE gears up for Summer and is thinking all things ‘Heat’ this June, Senegalese talent Diarra Bousso brings the fire for the season with a cool collection destined for wardrobes world-wide.
Ms Bousso, who left her degree in Economics and Mathematics and her career on Wall Street behind to start her fashion holding company, Dakar Boutique Group, has two brands: the self-titled luxury accessories brand, Diarra Bousso and a womenswear brand, titled Diarrablu from which a stunning Spring/Summer’15 collection has emerged.
The range consists of cut-outs, colour and a collision of prints, with silhouettes that would work to have anyone’s figure shine.
As well as being the youngest representative at the World Fashion Forum in Paris and operating under the Global Education Movement (GEM) to empowers and educates women and children, we at SPICE think Diarra Bousso is one hot new designer to know.
