Rising Cape Town-based talent, Julia M’Poko launches her new label, Mo’ko Elosa with a brilliant and beach-set Autumn/Winter’15 collection that we’ll all be coveting come Fall.
Flavouring her brand’s aesthetic with inspirations taken from Japanese design, Ms M’Poko creates highly-considered cuts and clean tailored garments, with her first womenswear range entitled “MISOGI.”
The lookbook, lensed by Katja Marr has pieces shot on a sandy shoreline, where their light and easy palette isn’t too out of place – a defiant departure from the season’s typically darker colour combinations, which the designer deliberately avoided, instead working with neutral grey, white, black and cream.
