U.Mi-1 – a London-based brand by designer, Ngozi Ochonogor – blends British tailoring with Japanese artisanship; an aesthetic present throughout the lookbook for its Autumn/Winter’14 collection, “Prelude”.
Inspired by Ibo style, the collection sees shirts embroidered or cut like the tribe’s customary sash, jackets adorned with velvet and jumpers striped like the woolen hats that are signature to the Ibo’s ensemble.
“Prelude”, produced in shades of rust, navy, black and white, is made up of well-tailored pieces that will surely populate the wardrobe of most men this season, whatever their tribe or style.
